Hi all, back again with another query – is there any feedback anywhere on the "Flysky" equipment, it seems extremely good value but before splashing out wondered what it is like?. I have always used "Futaba" FM 40Mhz equipment which I still use without any problems, just wondered if I should get 2.4Ghz to be "with it" Ian

Cheers Dave, It is the price that appeals, I cannot believe that you get so much for the cost. I am perhaps being to old and cynical, I just remember the old saying, "you get what you pay for". I look forward to getting feedback from the users.

I have just bought a six channel set (and two additional receivers).

It arrived on Friday and I have only been able to read the instructions so far as have been away.

Receivers are about £8 each and according to the instructions it can handle twenty models !

Once I have a try of it I will report back.

I have the Flysky FR-T6 & it has performed flawlessly, the range is good ( I sail on a large lake in a nature park).

The unit feels solid & is easy to set up on it's own screen (no pc needed to programme it).

My previous unit was a Spektrum DX5e & the Flysky has out performed it.

Ian , I agree with you that basically you get what you pay for . There are a number of reasons why the likes of experienced people like DM are prepared to pay the higher prices for Hitec and similar quality products .

I have two Turnigy IA6 ones which are a rebadge Flysky I6.

Yes they support up to 20 models with different names and setups!!!

Reversing servo direction, limit maximum servo throw and switching for decreasing ESC output for scale speed and non scale speed these are a few great bits I have found so far!!

I have order a Flysky I6 with two more receivers from Banggood.

As for the Turnigy I have no problems, but, you get no servos with them, but, Hobbyking and Trackstar servos are cheap and work well.

The add-ons for voltage, rpm and temperature are very handy for feed back on your model.

Please note the throttle mode is for IC non centering, but, Banggood have a kit to convert it to self centering.

I have modified a number of them in our club, especially for the twin engine tug boats.

You tube is a good source of info on these radios.

Well, thank you so much for your replies, they have been a great help and show what a great forum this is for information. I believe now that I will have to get a set, the features are amazing and the prices attractive. I will get the centering conversion kit as I do like that facility on both sticks. Banggood seem to be a comprehensive supplier, so will give them a go on next pension day. My laptop goes in later today for up-dating so if any messages left I will acknowledge as soon as possible – they will not be ignored.

The self centring kits are ID 1078595.

The whole non centering gimbal is ID 1058191.

Knob sets in different colours and lengths(3mm) are ID 80299.

Nut sets in different colours are ID 1021926.

Umbrella knob sets ID 910496.

Transmitter switch silicon coloured

Also checkout they kits in long (ID11221809) and short(ID934114).

Checkout the metal uni joints in 3 to 4mm/3.175 to 4mm/ 4 to 4 mm/ 4 to 5mm and 5 to 5mm.

Hi Ian

I received my Flysky I6 today, bind in the receivers after renaming the model names.

Selected the first model and bind to the receiver.

Same with the second one.

The manual is rubbish, so download the Turnigy IA6 in the upload file section.

29 pages of PDF.

I changed the transmitter to longer gimbal knobs (25 to 30mm) with matching switch knobs and silicon switch grips.

Next it to change the gimbal to self centering !!
