Hi everyone, many thanks to all that replied to my post about painting my model very useful it was too. Now here I am waiting for glue to dry so looked at threads about my next project The Great Lakes Freighter and I noticed that on the images the builder (P Tritle) had a perfect fit on the forward bow section (top). As for me on the Whitehall I had a bad time trying to get the sides of the hull to line up and the section to fit, in the end I had to use putty to fill the gap's. Its ok and will look reasonable when painted, but is there a trick that I can use that will enable me to avoid these problems next time. As you know I am just getting back into it all so any help is appreciated. Regards Dai H
