I've come into possession of this grip fishing boat hull, does anyone know what vessel it is based on. The length is 37 1/2 by beam 10 1/4 inches.

I'd like to help put you out of your misery but no matter how hard I stare at your postings I can only see words and a blank screen. If you scroll down this page you'll see a box on the RHS marked "Frequently Asked Questions". It includes instructions on how to post a photograph, which would be very useful in this case. BTW I think you'll find it's a GRP hull (glass-reinforced plastic aka glass-fibre).

Got there in the endcrook I obtained the hull a while ago but no plans or information came with it. Length 37 1/2 inches by 10 1/4 beam. If anyone has any ideas what trawler the hull is based on I would be very interested to know, it's a grp hull and looks well made.

Yes, a nice looking hull certainly, could be one of a number of prototypes though. Hopefully someone will be able to identify it.

I think it is one of Bill Woods hulls. he builds a lot of Scottish fishing vessels and produces his own hulls in limited numbers. try asking on this forum, mentioning his name.

he'll soon tell you whether it is or not……..he's usually found lurking on the modelling section in the gallery.

Unfortunately it's not one of Bill's, I'm open to suggestions as to what its based on

I found the plans for this hull in My Hobby Store. It's Glenrose 1 by Tom Gorman. Anyone had any experience of the plans regarding accuracy and detail.
