Hi guys,

Pain from Tassie here again. Reading a 2012 back issue of MB I came across an article about SMS exhibition which showed a picture of a Aerokits Solent lifeboat with the comment "is a big boat..".

Nowhere in the article was there a description of it's size or scale, does anyone have any knowledge? Aerokits no longer produce her.

The Aerokits Solent kit was to 1:12 scale and 48 inches long. If you Google Aerokits Solent Lifeboat you will find quite a lot of information.

I don't think the kit was originally in production for very long and it has not been reintroduced since the old Aerokits firm ceased trading many years ago.
