Thanks Dave, looks very interesting, I've bookmarked this for future use.

Quite interesting indeed, Cookie! Some of the stuff (e.g. the shackles and some of the nuts and bolts) look like they're of the fairly ubiquitous RB Model (**LINK**) make that you can get from many shops and suppliers (this remark is not meant as a detraction — RB Model stuff is very good indeed), but there are also some things I haven't often seen, such as the really small acorn nuts.

I shall also most definitely get a set of the hex driver nutspinners (**LINK**)! Securing M0.6 hex nuts and their ilk in tight places I have often found a rather frustrating exercise, so these spinners really appear as though they would qualify as feline nightwear!

Having done some further research, I came across a most interesting small webshop in Germany, called Knupfer, that specialises in small and miniature fastenings, many of which they apparently make themselves!

Alas!, as far as I've been able to find out, the site is only in German, but if one is willing to brave that, there are goodies aplenty to be found: **LINK**.

Apart from the fastenings, they also sell fitting tools, including miniature taps and dies and very small U keys for down to M0.6 nuts and bolts (**LINK**). Likewise, they have parts for larger scale model railways, including these very, very pretty, cast brass hooks that would make for most realistic looking cargo hooks on larger scale merchant ship models: **LINK**.

              /Mattias
