I would like to know how to arrange for the back to drop down 90% and draw up again to a flush fitting on the Adolph Bermpohl. Unfortunately the previous owner glued the top to the hull, making it very difficult to work inside. I have attempted to use a plastic snake control but find I can either open the back as required or close as required but not both, using a normal servo and long arm. As owners of this model know, the daughter boat should roll back into the water once the back is down and drive back again which brings another problem. How to control both together? I use a Spectrum DX6 on 2.4 so I suppose it would be possible to switch from one boat to the other although that does not appear satisfactory so any ideas will be appreciated.
As it seems almost impossible to dissolve the glue, it has been suggested I slice the top away from the hull and fit a lip inside which would then sit inside the hull. Ideas on this one too would greatly assist.
In both cases advice in layman's terms is necessary please.
