Hi Gents , I am building a 1:24 scale Perkasa and the power train is 1 off MFA 850 motor in the center and 2 off JP power speed 660 1 on each side. I will have 2off 12V 5000 mah, Nimh sticks wired in parrallel . The 850 motor will run all the time and the 660,s to have a bit of action nom and then . What run time could i expect to get with this setup.

      Thanks Dave smiley

There are a too many variables in the set up for a meaningful estimate, but the most important one is missing, the prop sizes. This will have a huge effect on the current drawn. I suggest putting it in the test tank and measuring the current ofeach of the drives. This is not only for getting an estimated run time but also to make sure the wireing, esc, are ok for the job.

Dave. Assuming about 10A for the 850 and min 5A for the 660`s, this gives 20A possible draw..perhaps more, or perhaps less. On an effectivly 10A batt this is….ooooooh. 30 mins or probably less duration, …, to all day…depending on how much time you spend with the throttle open.

As Charles says.Youwill really only find out when you plonk it in the water !
