.I am trying to find out if a model of the m.s Elizabeth Bowater is still in existence and its whereabouts. The model was made by Mr D.W Greenslade and was a month on month feature in Ships Monthly magazine in 1971/72. The article showed the construction of this fine model which was made using the bread and butter method for the hull, also all the ingenious ideas Mr Greenslade had for the various fittings. My Dad was a deck officer on this ship and other ships in the Bowater fleet in the 1960`s.
