        Having put the 2 new graupner shafts in place with 40mm props i am just not happy with the way they look .I would like to put them further back on the original mounts but it meamns carving further chunks out of the hull and dont reall want to do that .

        So my dear fellow boaters here lays the question do i go with the graupner shafts or leave it for another 2 weeks and invest in normal shafts with smaller 30mm props .So to be , leave them in , or not , take them out , to be that is the question .

          Wait

          You only build a model once and it should be the built to the best of your ability and this includes aesthetics, so if it doesn't look right don't do it.

          I hope that this helps with your dilemma.

            Depends on your kludge acceptability level.

            I've done/doing some heavy bashing of the kit I'm building and a couple of times I've left something 'as-it-was' because I thought it good enough. Not something I couldn't do, just seemed like more work than it was worth.

            But a few weeks later I decided that even if others might not notice it I knew it wasn't as I'd like and it bugged me. So I then did a lot of extra work to make it how I really wanted.

            So, the fact you've asked here about it suggests it bugs you a bit ……
