Apologies to all who have received an Email from me this morning!

Ref….Green coffee

This is some sort of harmless virus, but a message has been sent to all recipients on my address book!

It was created by a third party and not myself

Looks like your email provider might have had a hack in the past. It happened to me a few years ago. If they have your userid and password your mailbox can be used for bulk email shots. Simple answer is to change your password NOW.

Dear All

Please be aware of a potential adware virus problem that seems to be piggybacked on one of the adverts on the forum page.

Both my anti virus programmes have picked up two today and they seem to emanate from the banner advert that runs across the top of the page (the one below the Model Boats icon)

Sorry that I cant be more specific with the location but the virus are both generic adware.

I've just had a strange garbled message, with reference to ModelBoats, about a message that wasn't delivered etc

I suspected it was a phoney, so it got wiped off

How strange?
