Hi,i have been on model boat mayhem site and under the title thread old photois archive there is a photo of the Dover fast patrol lifeboat and the builder was a well known builder called KEITH OSBOURNE.These photo`s are in blk & wht and it was at the southport regatta w/end year not known,i was also told that there was an article on this lifeboat in model boats.Can anybody help with do you know when & what year this was,also if you know where i can get the plans,RNLI & NMM dont have them.

Martin, I think he got the name wrong there……..I'm sure it was made by Keith Bragg…..and is the Sir William Hillary, and as you say, was Dover's boat before being requisitioned by the RAF ( I think ) for air sea rescue service,

but Colin B might be able to help you more.
