            Hello Ken

What's the story about…."the roof falling in"?

            It sounds rather dramatic!

This looks like the Lifeboat Show at Etherow, this year, where Ken was awarded a trophy

              Congrtats……..Bob

                Very very nice.

First class workmanship and not a piece of 'rust' to hide behind.

Looking at the three boats I wonder how many hundreds of hours of work is sat on that table, after doing the Trent I wouldnt want to do another one.

Well done on winning a trophy

                  Paul,

If you can make an M1 submarine……..Another lifeboat would be no problem to a man of your calibre!

many many hundreds of hours Paul, as well you and Bob and any model maker knows……………just the heathen brethren who haven't a clue, who think that you'll sell them one for a few hundred quid……..after knocking one up over a weekend, lol

had an offer myself for one of my 3 models at the Blackpool show..last weekend……….would have meant me working for around 70pence an hour………..just insulting……..would rather scrap them than sell for that price, lol……..and these offers come from well to do folk that probably earn more in a month than I would in a year………………..

they all get the same answer……"if ya wanna pay peanuts……..get a b****** monkey to build you one".

I suspect that Ken has not yet twigged how to post thread pix, so I`ve helped him out

All Ken's boats, don't think he as time for other types, or perhaps the inclination

Ken also gained a Best On Stand at Haydock Park show this year for one of these beauties,

                        Nice one Ken!.

Ken still hasn't sorted out how to post a reply!

                              C'mon, Ken…..!

The Perkasa was a reworked auction purchase, he tells me.

Colin….How is it that new members find it difficult to post a message?

I have a brother who is in the same boat!……….Personally, I can't see a problem

Our club has 140 members, yet only half a dozen have reached the dizzy heights of posting a message!

The trouble is that we don't see what the new comer sees!
