Hi all,
Thanks for all the help.
I have now re-worked the electrics and even added some lighting.
The deck was removed after removing all the screws, even the ones under the bollards and arial housing. The deck was then gently lifted up being careful not to damage the seal. I then fitted a new mtroniks esc and switch for the lighting as there is a spare slot opposite the on/off one already fitted.
I also carefully removed the top of the wheel house and fitted red and green lights instead of the dummy ones that came with the model. I also replaced one of the nav lights on the mast then fed all the wiring down some 4mm x 4mm square tubing inside the wheel house. While I had the top off I decided to add some figures and re-worked the seating arrangement to accomodate this.
I then fed the wiring down through the deck into the main cabin below the wheel house where resisitors etc were soldered and then joined onto a plug that would connect to one I had fed up through the lockable hatch that leads to the battery compartment as standard. I have also added some pics of the finished job so you can get some idea of what i did.
Once again many thanks to all.

Pleas see othe pics in the Southampton Tug Album
Regards,
Kevin
