I am hoping that someone might be able to help me out.

I have a selection of old model boat plans, and am wondering if they are worth anything.

      They consist of the following:

      1. Marieville (Vincenzo Lusci)
      2. Sea Rover (Aero Kits)
      3. Canal Narrow Boat (Vic Smeed) – from the Model Maker Plans Service
      4. Lady Helen / H.M.S Amazon double sided
      5. Surfury (J.P. Francin) – from the Model Maker Plans Service
      6. A Semi-Scale Tank Landing Craft (Ray Smith) – from the Model Maker Plans Service
      7. P.S Duchess of Fife (J.M Robson) – from the Model Maker Plans Service

I have no idea of the value / use of these so am looking for some advice if possible.

I can supply photos of all if required.

Thanks for any help / interest.

      Matt

          Matt,

I think I should first say that this is a model boat enthusiasts forum and not a sales facility.

Having said that, I think the plans you have listed would have negligible monetary value.

You could however try listing them on EBay or a similar site to see if you get any offers but I suspect the selling cost would be well in excess of the price obtained..

          Regards,

          Colin

Sorry to say but none of the plans that you have any specific value as none of them are rare in fact most of them are freely available on CD or as downloads.

If you put them on fleabay I would suggest listing them individually on a free listing day

              Good Luck

              Paul

As above really, if you have an ebay account list them individually on there, as Paul says on a free listings weekend, of which there is one this weekend..Hard to judge what value as i Do not know what they look like, but putting them on for £ 5.oo each including free uk postage would seem fine considering what others are on for, you would only make a couple of pounds but better than binning.

Other option which I also do for mags which I can not sell or have a few of is I sell them at shows we attend for £1.00 and donate it to the RNLI. People are likely to donate anyway but its nice to be able to have a little somthing..
