      In the May 2010 issue of MB, on page 54 there is an article on James Pottinger and on this page is a picture of the above model boat. It states that it was built by a Glasgow model maker and the construction was featured as a series in MB describing all the stages of construction.
      I have searched the digital archive for these articles to no avail. Does any reader perhaps know which issues these articles appeared as I am interested in purchasing the plans?.

          I think that plan was first published quite a while back but don’t recall when. The plan number 1480 might help in being able to track down the relevant issue though. If nobody can come up with the answer in the meantime I will try and find time to track it down in my own collection of issues next week.

              Colin,
              I was trolling through Google images and came across some MB mags for sale on e-bay.
              One of them was the build of FC Sturrock. From these mag pics I was able to determine that the build was in 5 parts. Part 1 was the June 1997 issue of MB and then parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 were in July, Aug, Sept and Oct 1997. They were MB issues 558 to 562 inclusive.
               
              Do you know if these articles are still available?
