I have just created an album with a few selcted photographs of the day the tug J R More was being decommissioned. Her Props were removed, all openings to the sea were welded shut with metal sheeting and all her bunkers removed. She was painted both top and bottom before she was moved to the quay side where lies today, decaying for lack of the museums maintenance on her. I even found a photograph of her tied up alongside the F C Sturruck taken in the 1970,s. I cant recognise the tug lying behind them.
