      Happy New Year  to all

I’m building a Lady Wooes, and am having a bit of a problem getting the motors in.

I’ve drilled holes for the prop shafts and cutouts for “A”  frames, however the motors still come very close to the inside of the hull.

Can any modeller please throw some light on the problem.

      Regards
      Mike

I had a similar problem with a lifeboat i am building and overcame the problem with a system of pullies from como drills….you can see how i did it if you look at post 322 of the build thread listed below.

            Mike,

Assuming you’ve followed their instructions/markings on the hull for the prop shaft holes and cut-outs for the A-frames, I’d throw the problem back at MMM. From what I’ve heard they’re helpful.

              Hi Mike

I hope you have solved this problem and are still building her. How are you getting on with your build.

I know it’s a smashing looking boat and wondered if you could post some pictures of your build.

I’d be interested to know how you solved your problem with the motors in the Lady Wooes and also how you overcame other problems with the build…..we could compare notes as I sailed my Lady Wooes for the first time last Sunday 25/7….but that’s a whole new story.
Look forward to hearing from you
                Regards
                Mike
