I am all for scale speed, it makes the models look much more realistic.

Torpedo boats are fast, everyone knows that, but did I overdo it??

            Make `em work I say

The boat is very light, and speeds along despite the SLA battery. With a 7.2V  2500mAhr NiMh battery the performance becomes dangerous, and I only tried it once..

The flat bottom may be a factor in providing lift, but of course the sloping cutaway at the rear would ultimately limit the top speed. A completely flat bottom may have been awesome !!!
