I am researching the Clan shaw class ships which wer built by Greenock Ship Building Company, Scotland during the 1950’s. So far I have found several ships of this class which were all very similar. Clan Ross became the Kinnaird Castle, Clan Shaw. Clan Sinclair, S A Seafarer were all of the same design. I if any one can help me with pictures and or plans of these ships I will very greatfull. I have the side view and plan view of the ship but I desperately need the water line diagrams of this class of ship. Does anyone know of any archives which may be able to Help me?

Models by Design sell a hull of Clan Ross to 1/96th scale with plans. They may sell the plans separately if you ask.

Brown Son & Ferguson do a drawing of the Clan Shaw (listed under Greenock) – hopefully the right one!

Thank you very much Collin for the info. I am going to write to them right now and hopefully I will be successful this time round. Some friends from the Marsch museum were helpfull with some pictures of the S A Seafarer when she went aground in June of 1963. All these photographs will in the end will prove very helpfull to get more detail onto my model.

I welcome any more information and any photographs from any one who can help with my research and Project.
