Frames made from 5mm MDF on 8mm ply keel, with strips of duct tape over frames then tissue cloth covered and coated with grp resin. When dry, covered with layer of plaster and scraped and sanded to a smooth shape then glassed over several times with grp tissue and resin. Then brush all the inside several coats of grp resin.

As you can see, it’s far from finished, I’ve just run out of GRP but I’ve ordered some more from alwayshobbies. There’s more pics on my gallery. Foggy.

Hi Larry, I just went on Google, typed in American Tugboats, clicked on images at the top and went through the pages until I found some drawings and right clicked ‘save picture’ then enlarge them on “Paint” and print them out. You’ve got a really nice model there,Larry. Keep up the good work, regards Foggy.
