      Hi,
I’m just about to buy a propeller for my new steam  boat. Looking at the web site for the Prop Shop, they all seem to be left handed. (anti clockwise)
Is this normal for steam? or am I loosing my marbles?
      Thank you
      Mick

i’m sure that if you contacted Simon Higgins at Prop Shop with your requirements, he would be able to suply you with what you want.
I sought simon’s help with special props for my Flying Christine [see the gallery] and he couldn’t be of more help in any way………a fantastic service.

            Hello Michael

A Left hand prop is normal…………Since the prop shaft thread is Right hand…….There is less chance of shedding the prop in normal use…….As it screws itself onto the prop shaft in the forward direction.
