Is anyone thinking of constructing an Ice-breaker or has done so?
A good subject for a future article in MB.

Been there, done it, see my photos.

There was a thread if you can find it about my icebreaker experiment.

The conclusion was…the ice has to be just the right thickness for the weight and power of the model or it doesnt work.

Mine was as heavy as I could make it, and had a very large geared prop for pushing power…all to no avail. The ice was too thick, and when it was thin enough, even my Titanic didnt flinch…

Ice just isnt in scale.  Ho hum.
