Hi all,

I am new to the Forum and joined seeking some advise on the following.

I am looking to buy a model boat kit of the following for my father in law this Christmas as he has very fond memories of the vessel from his Merchant Navy days. After scouring the Internet to no avail I would be delighted if there were such an item available and anyone could guide me in the right direction to finding it:

i am sorry to bring doom and gloom on your thoughts but i doubt very much whether you will find a kit of this vessel unless one of the plastic kit manufacturers make one..

your best bet would be to look on the site of DEANS MARINE for similar types of vessels and if he wants he could then modify a chosen merchant ship to suit

Hi,

Thanks for your help – I think that I will have to admit defeat on this one. Exhausted every Google search and called model shops from the Highlands to Cornwall to no avail.

I will take your advise and look at the closest merchant ship to match.
