This model was made by our club member, Martin Sutcliffe, some years ago.

It`s a great crowd puller when he brings it to the lake on special regatta occasions

Couldn’t pass up that chance Bob, it was more stable than an ordinary bike !!. Martin was good enough to let anyone under 12 stone have a go ,you could have a go if heavier but was warned you you could get your feet wet.

It rounded a great day off and I won a prize in the raffle (a minature Sub) and as Bob mentioned in his “The weather” forum it stayed fine and sunny as did our Club open day at Etherow the day before.

Envy and jealousy is a terrible thing isn’t it Bob.

On the day I thought Martin wasn’t going to get it off the trailer ,the amount of questions he got on the structure and workings of it.

Even down to the suit , hat and cycle clips he had it right and made the day at Bury’s end of season regatta I’m sure!.

Sorry chaps missed this posting……….no envy from me Ducky as the floats would have to be a lot bigger (with an engine) before I got on the thing.

Martin does look the part though with his straw hat…..
