      hi is there any body out there building the great model slipway 1/16 tamar lifeboat as i have now been building mine for 3 months now

              Yes, I have mine 75% complete. Have made RIB rear & deck doors open, making the mast fold and fitted lights and working radar.

               
              Am using Graupner Eco 600 motors with two mtronics speed controllers and an Electronize controlling the bow thruster.
               
              Anyone fitting brushless motors? if so what kind?

                     I have several fairly detailed photos of the Tamar Lifeboat 16-04 ” Spirit of Padstow” taken in the boathouse.
                   
                  I would be pleased to put these on a dvd and post to anyone interested.

                    Hi all, I know this is an old thread but I have been doing some motor performance calculations for Ian Potts on his Model Slipway Tamar. He is using the Model Slipway recommended motor-prop combination of Speed 600 Eco motors with 40mm props. Anyone out there completed a Tamar with this setup and can let us know how it performs on the water?
