Sorry but is anyone else having trouble uploading pictures to this site, or is it just me being a newbie? Every time I try to upload a picture lately the site just “hangs” and I stare at the hourglass for minutes until giving up!

I’m reasonably computer literate, this happens on both my desktop and laptop, and all my other sites are responding!

Any one else having this problemm?

I upload large size photos and had the same problem so I upload one image at a time and that seems to work.

Pierre, I found I was limited to one picture at a time on Photobucket until I tried Firefox where I had Java enabled and different security & popup settings in place.

In saying that I have not uploaded on this site since the change.

Hello Pierre

I always reduce the image size to 450 pixels and load them one at a time.

I also had big problems a few days ago……………..and quite a lot of photos are still locked up in the various albums for some reason…………….I`ve erased all mine

Thanks for the input……………………..I’ve tried single uploads,as well as reducing the size of the image, still no joy.

I’m using Firefox as a browser, maybe I need to go back to IE (yawn). Will also check my firewall settings and see if that makes any difference.

Seems like a blocked script or activeX .

You are not using a proxy are you?

I uploaded 2 Photos in to a new Album and they ARE there,but when I click on view Album I get a Message saying unable to find it.

Also in some of my Albums several photos cannot be seen( a white square with a little red cross in the L/H top corner in its place)

Please Mr Vinnie have a word with the so called Experts.

Well I decided to try an upload now that the Forum software has changed.

Four jpegs went into the album in seconds (no GIFs or PNGs allowed)

I’m using Firefox with NoScript add-on and I allow popups & scripts from Modelboats.

The last three pics are at the request of Ken Shimmin (and Paul and Ashley too!)

Twelve hours after posting four jpegs I deleted three from the gallery to see what happens.

The gallery immediately showed only the submarine plug was left but the other three stayed in the above post for ten minutes as the page was refreshed in the browser.

Logged of and then on to find they were also gone from the above post,leaving the sub.

I noticed that if I go back to view albums where images are added or removed then the message “Sorry, the album can’t be found.” persists but only for a finite time.

Conclusion:- The gallery seems to have anti-spam quirks but functions properly.

An Album quirk :-

Anyone else noticed if you delete the cover photo from an album the contents then shows “0 photos”.

I used the browser back button,ticked another image as the cover photo and repeated the process and all was ok : only the image marked for deletion was removed.
