Hi
Im just building my first R/c Boat being the sea commander , newbie
Question what can i use to waterproof the boat ? Im at the stage now
Before any of it get closed up ….
Thanku
What is used to waterproof wooden R/c boat pls
Hi Andy,
A couple of coats good quality varnish is fine for a plywood boat, if you not concerned about cost West epoxy resin is the best stuff. 😀
Regards Ray
Hi Ray Wood 2
If i use either varnish or the west epoxy can these be painted over ?
Or use varnish inside boat and epoxy on hull ?
Thanks
West is good inside & out and can be painted,
And externally on the hull sanding sealer then paint, you may read about glass cloth & resin, but not really needed on your Sea Commander, I've built a few 😀
It's all on this website…
Afternoon
Thanks for the info ive gone with west epoxy as I have now another 5 kits ordered
