Ok so she doesn’t know it yet, but I bought another… the guy I bought if from new nothing about it, all I can tell you is it is 51inches long and the sails are 88 inches high. Any ideas what this one is?

I should have said I also bought another yacht which I believe is a CR 914, she doesn’t know about that one yet either…..

With the length of the hull, I would say it's a 'Marblehead' class

Something about the shape says a Stollery Marblehead, mostly the exaggerated sheer at the front end.

Hi Tim,

Yes we were in Hoopers in Tunbridge Wells at the weekend I saw a handbag for £895 said to to my granddaughter with us blimey that's expensive !! She replied you should see them in Harrods they are £15,000 I laughed let's buy 2 ! we didn't !!

Puts thing's in perspective 😮

Tim, I have told the missus, (we are in France at the moment) so over a great lunch with some sunny weather and a bottle of red, I mentioned that whilst we are on holiday I bought what looked like a couple of great boats on e b a y both for very reasonable money, (75 quid each for a cr914 and the brown boat) for some reason she didn’t cut off my gonads? I don’t get it one moment she is laying down the law and saying 8 yachts is too many now it’s ten she just said Ok?

That is surely good news. Make the most of it. Re-enacting the Armada could be a good aiming point but beware of the payback.
