Hi All, I have joined this forum in the hope of foraging for information and tips,

I have ordered a cheap chinese wooden fishing boat about £10,( please could someone help the professional moden builders up off the floor?)

I tried one of their sailing 10 gun brigs and used it as a basis for my upgrading it with mahogany and purchased parts and I think turned out quite well, so I thought I would try it with this small 10" motor fishing boat, I will add to it to make it as good as I can get.

I was wondering if anyone had any idears on what this boat is based on? so that I can get ideas on what to put on it. it looks a bit Grand Banksish but I cannot find anything that looks like this, is this a forlorn hope?

These three pics are the finished Chinese Fishing Boat, double planked the hull and added planking to cabin sides, plus a few bits from Cornwall Model Boats, kept me out of mischief for a time, although the scale is still a bit small for me to really get to grips with.
