I have just purchased a 34" precedent Huntsman, fitted with a 700 bb turbo motor and mtroniks 40amp esc.
The vendor said he used a 7.2 volt pack, would it be advisable to go up to a larger pack,9.6possibly
Clive
Graupner made two or three different versions of the 700BB Turbo. There should be a voltage on the label in pretty bold typeface. I'd advise going with the rating shown, although 7.2v doesn't sound like much oomph for this particular version of H31.

Hi Dave
Thanks for the reply, the label on the motor states 12v, so I think I,ll try a 12v NiMh pack.
Clive H
Hi Clive, I'd recommend fitting a fuse, if there isn't one already. The stall current at 12 volts will probably burn out your speed controller.
Chas.
