        Hi there,

        My poor old Graupner gearbox has broken the pinion 12t verson its just plastic pressed onto a brass bush so you can lock that to the shaft either the gearbox is that old and the plastic has gone brittle or its my original speed controller which is just neutral forward and reverse and kicks in very harsh maybe it should be acting like a rheostat resister but its not maybe someone can throw some light on that?

        my question is were can I get a gear set or will a different gearbox possibly use the same set? 2 sets of gears sold just a couple of weeks ago on a certain auction site but alas no more

            Graeme. Cornwall model boats appear to list Graupner gearbox spares, they do other gear kits as well for total replacement. I cant, after a VERY QUICK surf, seem to locate the other similar gear housing set, but that may only have been a 2:1 offering. If one lot of gears has gone brittle the other will also have gone. Time to change methinks.

            Resistance board….ditch it. Get an Mtronics ESC or something, so much better.
