      hi folks. first timer, been lookin for a hobby, looked around, decided on boats. picked a AERO NAUT DIVA, CABIN CRUISER, seemed like a good beginner project? oringinately going static to start with now wondering about RC, any tips on either appreciated. thanx

          If you only need it to steer it and control the speed and direction of the motor then a 2-channel radio will do. You won’t go far wrong with a Futaba set. You will only require one servo plus an electronic speed controller. I’d suggest fitting a standard MFA 540/1 motor running on a 7.2v NiMH pack.
