I have now got round to purchasing a Mtronic viper 25 amp esc and i am confused what way round to attach the wire to my reciever, i have a Acoms reciever and the are 2 wires to the plug the middle one red and the other black plus one empty space. the esc has 3 wires,  brown, red, and orange. I dont know what way to fit this as one wire from the esc will not be used, either the brown or orange depends which way round it is fitted. Please help i want to finish this…

Gary. Are you getting confused with the reciever power supply plug?this has black/red…but the ESC goes into one of the two “servo” channels wot have three wires. The ESc supplies the battery supply for the reciever in your case and no batteries are required ,other than the main one.  Ashley

I think the pin / wire cutting is for when you DONT want the ESC supplying reciever power, and want to use seperate batteries ??    If not a telephone call to the shop supplying the gear may help, or a larger shop, Howes or similar.  Ashley

Hi all i have got some instructions but i havent got a clue what they mean. i do know how to connect the battery and the motor it just the reciever, i did buy it from Howes and i will give them a call tomorrow. It says on instructions that the acoms reciever has ,signal yellow, +ve red and -ve black. I have just got black and red, no yellow wires anywhere.
I will let you know how i get on.
