      hi.hope someone can help.i live in horwich near bolton ,north west england and believe their is a scale model club in horwich.when i tried the link to their web page it is outdated,so there is no one i can contact about how to become a member,when they meet or even if the club still exists.?i am new to model boats and wanted to join a club near me.i was going to buy a ready to go warship and then as an on going project,build a model boat also.can anyone get me any information/contacts on this club in horwich please?thankyou

        Hi Nicholas

        Don’t know of the club in Horwich nr Bolton, but there is a good club in Clarence Lido park in Bury which is’nt that far from you is it? . They meet on Wednesdays and Sundays .Nice crowd of guys with all types of sailing and club house with toilets and cafe .

          Thanks for that,I may look into it if I get no luck in finding info on the club in Horwich.I know they were definately sailing their boats in the summer on the lodge on Squirrel Lane in Horwich.Its just that the website i was directed to was greatly outdated and last updated in 2002.I will keep trying but thankyou anyway.

              If the club is still going it is posible that they meet up on a sunday , try going to the lake say midday.
