And here I was thinking you were changing into the Incredabell Hulk,nice pictorial series of plank boat building Bob ! will be a great help to all those out there thinking of starting one and not knowing where to start.

Just had a very graphic image of Bob at the lakeside turning green and ripping his shirt off…….I shall be having nightmares all week.

Its alright Joyce is a good needle worker,she makes all Bob’s sails so shirt mending would be no problem.

Anyway enough of this frivolity back to the "Jeanie Deans at war" thread !!

Thanks Duckie and Paul………………I can always count on you two for jovial comments……..keep it up!

I`m pleased you`re looking in from time to time………………..just glueing the formers in place at the moment…………………….then it`s the big plank!……………….which will be quite easy, because I`ll be using the old card trick to cover any dodgy planking!

Keep looking in and I`d like your comments please…………………..good or bad?

Do you know I have never plank on framed anything? I have a certain admiration for anyone attempting this. I really dont have the time (or possibly patience) for it, and all my craft are ok with single piece sides. however twisted it has to be to get some flare or sheer!. Once I start I have to see the finished article soon or something else comes along and I am itching to do that !! An Ekranoplan, for instance.. Ashley

What do you mean cover up the dodgy planking Bob, you don’t have any of that do you ??

And like you Ashley I’ve never done anything like that,its got to be a kit for me and been planned out and just have to put together,I go round to Bob’s workshop to watch a master at work and I’m amazed at it all.

I’m happiest at the lake,though to-day was a bit on the cool side!

Just come back from another round Wales……While the weather is favourabell!

POF is really the only way to construct a model, if you want to build my type of models……………..there`s nothing availabell

………and I don`t like finishing a model too soon either……9 months max is my norm……with a four gap in between deciding what to build next!

Anyway…….I`ve no time to spare…..gassing like this!…………..Got work to do!
