Non Technical = White plastic sheet that can be welded with solvent,cuts easy with scalpel or stanley knife. I use 1mm and 1.5mm thick.

Ada was a FREE Plan in one of the mags,probably still available.

Hi Merv,

Ada was the name I gave it.

It is Jasmin a Ricky Webbs design from Model Boat Mag October 2003 and it is a FREE plan.

Ok I will then. I want to build a tug & Len showed me his (Ada) & I need A Back copy October 2003 with plans in so I to can be a tug boat man too. But if I can get one free all the better. Regards Merv.

I am building the U.S.S. Hanford, & I under stand it is taken from a fletcher class Destroyer & as I dont have an little aeroplane for It . I am thinking of putting the extra guns in the planes place. has any body got a picture of a fletcher Please big enought for these old eyes can see. Regards Merv.

Hi Vinnie I went to my Hobby shop to collect my Mags & the gave me some old one. Dec.1974_ May1987 – March1988_ Jan.1987_ Oct1986_ Dec1986_ Aug1987_ Feb1988_ Now in this last one there is a Plan of The Smit Nederland & it says on the front cover( Starts this Issue ) Can I get the rest of the plans of this Tug boat.Regards Merv.

I am pretty sure that Plans were not included in the articules in the mag.

A hobby Shop giving away Free magazines? in the UK?, no I didn’t think so, I see you are in NZ.

I did not say that the Mags I got were from the U.K., I said I got them From my Hobby shop here in New Zealand.The Mag that has the planes of the Smit Nederland are from an Argus specialist Publication February 1988 one pound.30shillings Model Boats, Full Size Plans for this 2_ Channel Radio Controled Tug designed by David Metcalf. Now what I want to know is are there any back Issues That have the rest of the plans Like March April & so on 1988 Kindest Regards Mervyn D.T.Needham Esq.

Have we affended any body we hope not, Easter is coming up & I was wondering They say easter Bunny & then They say Easter eggs. Now I dont Know about The English But the Bunnies over here in New Zealnd Just dont lay eggs. They have heaps of little bunnies but no eggs. If I dont hear from any Body in the next two days well then have a happy Easter, & dont eat too many Bunny Eggs. (going camping bye the sea) Regards Merv.

Hi Merv, I have just photocopied the remainder of the plans, plus the article in the March & April copies. I have just purchased the hull from Model Boats and am waiting for it to arrive. Should be fun building it. No probs with cost, its a pleasure to be able to help out. I’ll find an envelope and pop them in the post tomorrow.

Since we are talking about back issues does any one have the Model Boats issue from December 1990, I am looking for the last bit of information on the plans for the Pilot 40 that I am building.
