It is a very impressive piece of model engineering

It is "erm" ability that is barred from most of us but it is what we have come to expect from Bobrunel in his paddle boat kingdom.

Now who can spot the pun in the last line?????????

I know Vinnie will cos he is clever.

The right answer wins a stove pipe hat.

          Hello Len and Paul

Sorry for not replying sooner. boyz………….my Broadband went stone dead on me on Saturday………ok now…..the nice BT man has got it sorted…………..old wiring was the problem

Thanks for your kind words regarding my Brunel prop!…….the blades are made from two overlapping pieces, soldered together and twisted about 45 degrees. The collars each side are tapped 2BA and the nice domed one can`t spin off because the rudder stops it!

…..and is the pun the word "Kingdom"?……………..Actually, that was Brunel`s wife`s surname!

            Bob

The hidden meaning was actually…."Is erm barred kingdom Bobrunel" or to be precise Isambard Kingdom Brunel but respect to you for coming up with a really obscure fact.

Sorry but you don’t win the hat but you do get a VIP ticket to attend the launching of Bob Abell’s huge new model of the Great Eastern. Tickets for which are currently for sale on e bay at £25.00 each.

To be serious it is a very nice prop Bob.

            Cheers

            Paul

              Hello Paul

It`s now 2 months later………………..Had a test sail………..The large prop boss was touching the hull slightly…………I assumed it would wear itself in………..But it picked up several times and finished up burning the motor to a crisp!……lol

              It`s ok now though!
