Hi. Ray, yes I am, and possibly two, a smaller one for my friends wife down at Broadstairs, she fell in love with my Verinica when she saw it.

I now have the drawings for Cambria and I will start on that soon after Christmas. Now that I have got my head around the sails and rigging I would like to make it as close to scale as I can, or as close as a working model can be.

When I have sailed Veronica a few times and maybe met up with other AMBO members I will have a better idea of what I can do.

I have just had the first Bits & Bobs from Richard and the first meeting at Bluewater clashes with boiler testing day for our steam group so I will not be able to be there, but I should be able to get to at least a couple of meetings during the year.

      Regards.

      Eddie

        img_20190126_120937.jpgHi All,

I've been adding odd fittings & handrails could be long term, but must fit a motor & radio soon 😀 as our lake re-img_20190126_121030.jpgopens in March.

        Regards Ray

You need some nets too if there are any decent fish in the lake!

Also look at the green mesh bags that fat balls for bird feeders come in. May be a smaller mesh, I'm not sure.

                    Hi Chris,

Yes primarily to sit on the unit in the lounge, and remind us of our holidays in June, but must be seaworthy and equipped, it shares the unit with a Spitfire, Hurricane & Vulcan. I seem to be getting away with them on show !!

How are your boats progressing ? Good modelling weather 😃

                    Regards Ray

Hi Ray – been doing a bit more as can be seen in the Swordsman build. Shall certainly be doing some tomorrow looking at the weather forecast.

I've got one of Dave's Huntresses on display in the lounge. It was only supposed to be temporary as don't have room upstairs but it gets admired by visitors so it looks like its place is assured!

                      Chris

                        Hi All,

The indoor test tank used over the weekend, with 2 sub C 6 cell battery packs in the bilges, it took another 2 1/2 lbs of lead to get her down on her marks.

Needs a crew & some nets etc

                        Regards Raysfb feb 19.jpg
