Taff rail now glued in position on top of the gunwales. Very tricky as they have to flex horizontally and vertically. The good news is that as they are made on the same former, they give a very symmetrical shape to the boat, even when the planking below has "wandered" a little.

The taff rail now in place, giving a lovely ship shape to the model.

                Hi Brian,

Great work so traditional maybe hold the camera upside down and the photos will come out up the right way ?

                Regards Ray

Cheers Ray, does anyone know where to find smaller eyelets? I have used the 3mm/7mm size but they are out of scale to the sail.

                    Hi Brian,

Nylet do some smaller eyelets with an inside diameter of 1/16 of an inch (1.5 mm nominal), catalogue part numbers N050.0 and N050.1

Frank Parsons catalogue can be found here **LINK**

New sail with the new smaller (in scale) eyelets. The lettering is done freehand with an acrylic pen, I don't know where to get "lettra set" type of transfers nowadays.

With a bit of Lilliput that was about to go off, I have created the catch and four fish boxes for the coble.
