It all started with a couple of days clearing the shed of junk building the work bench and shelving with the help of one of the younger boys, had to refelt the roof which I could of done with out as it broke into the build budget but we have to be water tight..

Day 3 started with a raid of my mothers loft, found some 9mm ply from my late fathers projects which I shall use for the keel and frame assembly, also found some mdf slats from a kitchen blind 25mm wide 2mm thick bends and twist nicely so shall give this a go for planking the hull..

After spending a couple of hours tangled up in paper cuttings and sticky tape I managed to fit all frame templates on one sheet of recycled ply stuck down with the kids glue stick robed from the stationary draw, "I will replace it honest"
