          Peter,

A lot will depend on what the specifications of the motors are and what you intend to do with them. If you haven't already done so, have a look at Dave Milbourn's article here **LINK** for some basic background.

Then give us a bit more information on what you are doing.

Here's a further guide through that minefield which will take you to a thing called P94….. **LINK**

As Colin says, we will need to know more about the boat if you require specific advice on batteries etc.

Agggrrrr……… This is the spec of the two 545 motors I have got, these are the only electrical items I have bought as yet, I have a 46 inch plastic hull which I bought from Models by design (sangestia) two prop shafts, props, and rudders, and a set of 2.4 radio gear. high revving 5 Pole motor for universal applications.
              Operating Voltage 6-12V

              Size: 67mm long 35mm diameter.

              Speed 17,400 RPM @ 7.2V.

              Free load drain 1.95A @ 7.2Volts

              Shaft size: 3.2mm

Thats about the size of it folks. Peter

As you've probably gathered, those motors are not really suitable for that model – they are much too fast and hungry for current. This is a pretty large hull and would certainly stand 700-size motors, but running at around 8000 rpm and turning something like 45mm 3- or 4- blade props. I would suggest a pair of these **LINK** running on 9.6v. That's a standard 8-cell NiMH pack. If you connect them up according to this diagram **LINK** but using the 775 motors and two parallel-wired 9.6v NiMH packs with a P103 (instead of the 12v SLA batteries shown) then I reckon you will have a sound basis for a performance boat. If you buy the P94 then set it to Mode 4 (50% mix). One thing you must avoid is excess weight, so don't even think of using a big SLA battery for power.
O – by the way, avoid the Futaba 6J or 7C radios as they are incompatible with the P94. I personally use and can recommend Hitec.

                Good luck!

So lets get this right, you are saying that I need two battery packs @ 9.6v then to a P103 then to a P92 then to a P94 duel esc mixer then to the two motors, Peter

Either will do the job – it depends on the actual space available (for the shape of the pack) and the duration required (battery capacity). There's more information on the supplier's main website **LINK**
