H i the let stick will only work from side to side, as you know on twin screw model boats, you need both sticks to work up & down (ahead & astern) the right hand stick is ok.

I have now tried 4 receivers & they all do the same thing, ports on the receiver will only work on 12&4, & there are 7 ports.

I think the Transmitter is at fault or do I need to change a setting inside?

      The receiver is a R7EH , the transmitter is a T4EU.

      Can any one help please?

      Many thanks or looking.

Douglas. Hello and welcome to the forum.

I have a feeling that you will not get much of an answer here, as unless someone has this model of transmitter and has had this sort of issue no one will be able to add anything to help you !! Un fortunately I do not have this model either…

I might suggest trying the shop or vendor of your transmitter, and/or the manufacturer as probably being your best bet. No help in the manual??

I don't have one either, but some general principles are fairly universal.

The common thread seems to be channel 3 on the TX. The only bit of the TX that is unique to channel 3 that has moving parts is the pot on the stick, which needs a visual inspection to check if everything is properly connected, electrically and mechanically. If it is still under warranty, opening it that far would void the warranty.

If there is a switch or similar to change mode, this is obviously worth a try.

              Douglas,

the left hand stick opereates channels 1 and 2 [1 being aileron and 2 being elevator.]

the right hand stick is channels 3 and 4 [3 being throttle and 4 being rudder]

These sets are set up for aircraft/helicopters and have the above settings in Mode 1.

The mode switch is inside the casing as is the elevon mixing toggle. (see instructions)

You state that the left hand stick only works L – R so thats channel 2, and the right hand stick is ok, but that operates channels 3 and 4. BUT you say channel 3 does not function (which is on Right hand stcik) when, from your description, channel 1 should not function, its the U – D on left hand stick.

It would appear that your set has been already changed to mode 2, that swaps sticks over, but take care as the failsafe will then be on left stick, and full D on that channel.

I assume you have the instruction leaflet, here's the link to one:

              http://www.modelar.si/download/t4air.pdf

              It might help.

I changed mine system to mode 1, just to clear the failsafe full D from stick one, which I use for the throttle and did not want my boat full astern if it lost signal. There is a thread on this forum regarding failsafe and the setting of or not, you might want to view that too.
