Good day all steam trawler enthusiasts.
I have been asked to make a model of the steam trawler from which the first known to science coelacanth was caught back in 1938 and I wonder whether anyone can come up with GA and lines drawings of this type of vessel.
The "Nerine" was built by Hall Russell in 1925 (Yatd Number 688) for Irvin & Johnson of South Africa. Her identical sister ships were the "Disa" (Yard No. 684) and "Arum" (Yard No. 689). The "Nerine" became HMSAS minesweeper trawler "Nerine" during WW-II and achieved a second claim to fame as one of the vessels engaged in the rescue attempts and recovery of stores and cargo from the ill-fated "Dunedin Star" which went aground off the Namibian coast in 1942.
I have managed to look at some GA drawings of the "Arum" at this website but presume this is copyright as I cannot download it!

I would be most grateful if anyone can come up with any information that would help me make a model which would be the centre-piece of the updated coelacanth display in the JLB Smith Institute of Ichthyology (now called the South African Institute of Aquatic Biodiversity!)

Robin
