As a complete beginner to model r/c yachting and just about to launch my first vessel, athought crossed my mind about just where I should choose for such a launch. I am lucky to have a sea water filled boating lake of reasonable size and quality just a step away from where I live here in Felixstowe, Suffolk but I am sure that there must be others in this part of the world and across the whole country. Is there a detailed publication available listing any such suitable waters which are safe to use and have a reasonable access by local transport or car. If not then if all interested magazine readers were to simply post the name address and location of the local water that they use we could well be on the way to having a very useful document for all boaters – Keith Best
