      Have a look at this rare footage. The destroyers at full tilt in the bay of Biscay in a very green sea (at about 12 minutes in) made me feel queasy even though I am on dry land !

          Some interesting and readily identifiable liners being used as troopships in that film, including I think, the Pasteur.

            What strikes me is that the chap behind the camera must have had pretty good sea legs to be able to hold it as steady as he does, with the horizon in the images remaining pretty much, well, horizontal no matter how badly the ship he is on pitches and rolls …
