which plywood?

which plywood is best in 1.5 mm to use as the hull? have heard of birch ply which is best please.

Hi Wayne. I just go to my local model shop and grab a bit of ‘ordinary’ 1.5mm ply and say thank you very much.

There is a difference between birch and “lite-ply” though, as lite ply is fairly soft and does not have the strength of birch ply, but is lighter , if this makes a difference to your model.

Lite Ply is easier to get to conform to the shape of your frames of course, which is why is is so popular as a build material, and, in most cases, the structure with the covering gives plenty of strength.
