International Model Boat Show 2022 Cancelled

Dear Colleague,

As you may be aware, it was with deep sadness we recently announced the sudden death of Chris Deith, my Dad and the Managing Director of Meridienne Exhibitions, who passed away on 12th May.

Chris, was an integral part of our events team and we relied heavily on him for his extensive knowledge, as well as hands-on skills and team support in the successful delivery of the International Model Boat Show since it started in 1997.

As a team, we have had no option but to assess our events calendar and review what is achievable given the sudden loss of Chris. It is with deep sadness and regret
that we now announce the cancellation of the International Model Boat Show 2022, due to be held at the Warwickshire Event Centre on 5th & 6th November.

This is as disappointing for us as it is for you as we had hoped to bring this event back post pandemic but with our sudden great loss, we have reluctantly had to take this decision given the dramatic change in circumstances.

Thank you for your support over the years and understanding at this time.

Just when we had got through such an awful time and families are starting to try to get back to some sort of normality. My heart goes out to them.
