Has anyone started to build this from the free plan by Glynn Guest ?, Soon as I saw it I thought I've got to have a go at it. Just hope I have enough skill to make the rowing action work. I would be interested to hear if anyone is having a go at this build..

Saw this, fantastic idea. I wonder if you could make a stretched version with more rowers as a dragon boat ????

I have got the plans and think it would be easy to chain or worm gear drive each side with as many paddlers as you want.

              hi,

I was going to make this model, I bought the magazine but found when reading the build log all the pages were missing from p10 to p16 and pages 60 to p67, so took it back to newsagents, and they gave me a refund . just wondering have you noticed this in your magazine, our is it a one off printing error. I now don't have a copy unless I make a 12 mile round trip to w h smiths and finding the same problem. hope it is just a one off, I am in n wales

                David,

My subscription copy was complete with all the pages.

O.K., back to the subject in hand, I've now completed the hull for Waddler, next are the motor/gearbox combinations to install and then the pulley axle assembly's.

Just need to find 1/2 inch pulleys (with boss) with 6mm bore to fit onto the output shaft of the gearboxes, once I have these I should be able to complete the mechanical installation and hook up the rowers arms to the spoons (I mean oars)…
