As a flash steam enthusiast due to serious health problems I sold my 129.33 mph hydroplane a few years ago wading and the technique for launching was getting beyond my capabilities.
This morning had a phone call from its new owner who due to the virus has only been able to run it this month at Kingsbury Water Park.
He had what sounds like sticking valves causing a did not run.
I advised what I used to do its a lot of preparation preparing an experimental flash steamer.
Am still into flash steam but on a full scale size to power wheels if you check the link you will see my other loves.
My full size speed record family are looking after me and they gave me a disability buggy to get round the paddock I even drag raced the main organiser of events with it then another race as passenger in the 100mph fastest shed.
I know its not model boats and might not be every bodies cup of tea.
Despite health issues never give up enthusiasm keeps me going.
