I would like to find a type VII hull, boat or whatever. The bigger the better.

These can be converted to RC, have seen articles on this in the past.

Had a look at the link and never realised the Revel kits were so big. Nearly a metre long yet a nice size to test in the bath! Also cheap enough!

Perhaps too late, but, I would not recommend the Krick model kit of Type VII U-96. I finished one about 6 months ago after a long struggle. The quality of the parts is poor and the "Instructions" are woefully inadequate. If you choose to ignore my advice then I would be very happy to give guidance!!
